From I-40 East or West:

Take Exit 55 to Tunnel Road (NC-70). Turn left and the VA is about 1-1/2 miles on the right.

From I-240:

Take Exit 7 to Tunnel Road (NC-70) heading east. The VA is about 2-1/2 miles on the left.

Asheville Transit

Asheville Transit provides bus service service throughout the City of Asheville and other local areas with 24 bus routes running from 6 a.m.-11:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday.  These routes radiate from the Transit Center, located downtown at 49 Coxe Avenue next to the U.S. Post Office. The center provides maps and schedules and monthly and annual passes and ticket books.  Asheville Transit provides comparable paratransit transportation to all qualifying individuals who are unable to use the bus due to a handicap. Paratransit transportation is provided by Mountain Mobility of Buncombe County under contract to Asheville Transit.
